This year was the 30th Anniversary of the Granny Smith Festival and Ryde Hunters Hill Community Transport joined in the festivities. This was RHHCT’s first time participating in the event and we wanted to make an impact so our team spent a lot of time decorating the bus that we were entering the float. We brought up the rear of the 40 participants in the parade and are our ‘grannies’ waved to the crowd as we passed. RHHCT also had a stall at the Festival to spread the word on what our fantastic organisation has to offer to the community. We also ran a jelly bean guessing competition which was an event in itself. The winner taking home over 1000 jelly beans. The weather was a little warm but the atmosphere was great and the RHHCT team was enthusiastic. Great day was had by all.
