An early start from Sydney and off we were. Another twelve high flyers off to Port Stephens for the next 3 days.
First stop Anna Bay where we lunched at Birubi Point and took in those amazing views. Joan and Dulcie even met with a couple quiet Lifesavers… and this pretty much set the scene for the next couple of days. Laughs, good eating and even some pole dancing! Back at the hotel we enjoyed pre-dinner nibblies, great breakfasts and I’m sure there were some nightcaps shared by some lovely ladies.
Our day trips to Nelson Head Lighthouse, Medowie Macadamia Farm, Shoal Bay, Salamander Bay, Fingal Bay (by night and by day)! We stopped by Port Stephens Community Transport where the Manager came out to say Hi and have a quick chat. Our Dinners at The Diggers and Mavericks at the Marina, were definitely highlights. These ladies sure know how to have a great night out. Malia and I were certainly entertained.
On our last morning at Nelson Bay we thanked our warm hosts at The Nelson Towers Hotel for a great stay and headed on our way home… via Government Road! and by the Whale on the side of that road. We headed towards Morpeth for a coffee and quick visit before settling in for lunch at lovely scenic The Entrance.
I could add so much more here but this is a PG rated Blog and we all agreed that What happens in Port Stephens, stay in Port Stephens.
Kathy, Bronwyn, Pam, Bev, Louise, Elaine, Jacinta, Lorna, Dullcie and Joan… From Malia, Stav and the staff at RHHCT, we THANK YOU for being you and giving us a very enjoyable and memorable trip away. We cannot wait for the next one.
