Operating for over 35 years, Stryder continues to be the contracted Community Transport Service Provider for residents of Ryde and Hunters Hill local government areas. Clients who are referred by My Aged Care’s *CHSP Government funded program are eligible for subsidised rates.
Stryder also assists people living in Northern Sydney with a full cost service. As a registered NDIS service provider and many participants use our transport service to access their workplaces and day activities, as well as everyday transport. Stryder also offers transport options and solutions to the broader community, including customers on the Support at Home Program (replacing Home Care Package program). People on Support at Home find our Social Day Trips a welcome addition that allows them freedom to socialise and get out and about.
* Stryder is primarily funded by the Dept of Health and Aged Care as a Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) provider, for community transport. We are also supported by Transport for NSW for the Community Transport Program (CTP) and the NGO NSW Health Program to provide additional community transport services.
Using our specialised fleet of vehicles, we provide transport to medical and everyday appointments, regular shopping days and social outings, which are very popular with our clients.
To complement Stryder’s community transport service, we offer Bus Hire and Transport Solutions to various community groups, retirement villages, schools, churches, local and corporate businesses and encourage organisations to become business and strategic partners.
